Society as a whole seems to be afraid of the truth it seems,and more often than not, especially when it comes to our families. In my journey to find out who my grandfathers are, I have been warned by more than one to be careful as I may not like what I find. I appreciate the warnings, and in some ways understand them. However, when I must look at things differently than most others. I mean, when it comes down to it, if it was for the past that I do have, I wouldn’t exist. Who would want that?
Knowing how people are though, anytime I speak with someone new I try to convey that I am not looking to stir the pot. Instead, I am just looking for the facts. Those facts are what have allowed me to be born and turn into the man I am now. Secret, or not, I am going to find out the truth because this truth will set me free!
