From the end of October until January 7 at 5:00 a.m., most of our television time has been devoted to either the Hallmark Channel or
its sister station Hallmark Mysteries and Movies. If our television wasn’t tuned to those stations, we were watching the DVR for the movies we recorded. It’s been Christmas 360 here and I’m not afraid to say it! We still watched our shows, but I am proud to say we watched all of the million new shows that were made for this season — and they are on our DVR to prove it!

It’s been great! We’ve felt the happiness from the shows, the sadness and even in some instances I’ve had to remove things that keep getting in my eyes! (Usually the Christmas shows dealing with military or veterans…) It just amazes me the quantity they are pumping out within a given time period. I guess we like it best that we see some of the same actors and actresses, even some in sequels! Lacey Chabert is a favorite, as is Danica McKellar aka Winnie Cooper…

I think in the end, it’s the feeling that Christmas can be a time where things can go wrong, but if your believe and try hard enough, it can be set right. Rarely does Hallmark disappoint from the story line, girl/guy meets someone, there’s a struggle over if it should happen, they decide it’s worth it, something happens to set it back to not working, and then it works out in the last four minutes of the show. In short, happy endings for everyone!

Life may not always be like that, but I sure wish I could visit a place like these shows represent for a week or so. Along the way, I’ll continue living in the real world and trying to make it the best that it can be as I settle down to watch the Antique Roadshow!
