Growing up there was my Granny. She was everything to me, and I her. All was right in the world until my little brother was born. I like to believe that I was her favorite (and probably was) but I’m sure she loved him also. I remember her telling me that an education was something that no one could take away from me. I made sure to make her proud of me.
To date, I have finished three Masters degrees with two coming from Morehead State University – Information Systems and Business Administration and a third from Northern Kentucky University – Health Informatics. I am a full-time Professor at KCTCS and an adjunct at a few other universities.
My search for family has led me into the fields of Genealogy, Genetics and DNA. I am by no means an expert, in fact, I’m just now starting to get the hang of things. I hope this blog will help others unlock their own family secrets!
